Why do people come on a yoga retreat?

Everyone arrives for a different reason. For some, it's a chance to step away from the busy aspects of daily life and simply breathe. For others, it's a dedicated space to deepen a personal practice and allow introspection to occur. And for many, it's an opportunity to connect with other women and build genuine friendships. The Montenegro retreat is currently all women, with ages ranging from 30s to 60s, and is a welcoming environment for all body types, walks of life, and wherever you are in your journey.

Cancellation policy

This retreat is already sold out and we have a wait list building. If you're no longer able to attend, we will transfer your reservation to another guest. Once that guest is confirmed, you'll receive your deposit back and any amount that you've paid towards your reservation. Transfer of reservations will not be possible 90 days leading up to the retreat date. Please notify Jaime at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend.

Travel insurance

It's highly recommended to purchase travel insurance for this trip so that you can ensure any health or travel related issues are covered.

Flights

It's going to be best to fly into Dubrovnik and plan to arrive on the day before our adventure begins. Jaime will assist you with finding hotel options — a room block will keep us all in one good spot to connect and prepare for the next day's journey. If you want to plan to arrive before Saturday and spend more time in Croatia, please let Jaime know and she can put you in contact with local guides or make suggestions for your trip. The same goes for after your departure if you want to stay longer.

What if I get sick or don't want to do an activity while there?

Life happens. We will do our very best to support you with what you need. If you choose to relax for some time on your own without joining activities or classes, that is totally up to you and welcomed / encouraged. We suggest you travel with all your necessary medicines that you may need, but also note a pharmacy is nearby and we can connect with a doctor if needed to assist with severe illnesses.

What should I pack?

Jaime will provide a detailed packing list as we get closer to the travel date. A good rule to live by is take half the clothes you need and bring twice as much money! But really, it's going to be a mixture of breathable yoga clothes and some comfortable outfits. You will want great sandals, walking shoes, swim suits, etc. The studio has mats and props for us.

Still have questions?

Send Jaime a message and she'll get back to you as soon as possible.
